التشافي في بالي | Healing in Bali
A Healing Documentary About Presence, Community, and Remembering Who You Are
Bali is a place that calls you.
Not loudly. Not urgently.
But quietly, through the body, through the breath, through moments you can’t explain.
And there are two kinds of people: Those who feel the call. And those who ignore it.
“التشافي في بالي | Healing in Bali” is a 1 hour and 20 minute documentary created for the ones who feel something stirring inside them — a question, a longing, a need to pause and look inward.
This documentary is not here to convince you of anything. It does not promise answers.
It offers something more honest: the right questions.
What Is Healing in Bali About?
Healing in Bali is a personal, collective, and grounded exploration of what healing really means when we strip away spiritual performance and expectations.
The documentary weaves together:
My personal journey
The voices of community
Bali as a mirror rather than a fantasy
This is not a polished retreat promo. It is not a teaching disguised as a film.
It is a human story, told through presence, silence, emotion, and truth.
Why I Created This Documentary
I created Healing in Bali because I kept seeing the same pattern.
People arrive in Bali carrying exhaustion. Breakups. Unprocessed childhood wounds. Questions about meaning.
They search for healing as something to do. Another ceremony. Another method. Another solution.
But healing doesn’t start there.
Healing starts when we slow down enough to listen.
This documentary was born from that pause. From the desire to show healing as it is imperfect, embodied, relational.
Not something you consume. But something you allow.
Bali as a Healing Mirror (Not an Escape)
Bali is often romanticized as a paradise.
In this film, Bali is shown differently.
As a mirror.
The island reflects what is already inside you. If you are disconnected, Bali will show you. If you are open, Bali will support you.
Healing does not happen because of Bali. Healing happens because, here, many people finally stop running.
This is one of the central messages of the documentary: place can support healing but presence activates it.
Inner Child Healing & Trauma Awareness
Many of the emotions that surface during the documentary belong to younger versions of ourselves.
The inner child does not speak in words. It speaks through the body. Through fear. Through creativity. Through resistance.
In Healing in Bali, inner child healing is approached gently. Without forcing release. Without retraumatization.
Trauma awareness is present — not as diagnosis, but as respect for the nervous system.
Healing here means:
Feeling safe enough to feel
Being witnessed without judgment
Allowing the body to lead
Rita & Zineb: Healing Through Lived Experience
Two voices anchor the documentary deeply: Rita and Zineb
Their stories are not presented as inspiration porn. They are shared as lived experiences.
Moments of confusion. Moments of resistance. Moments of softness.
Their presence in the film reminds us that healing is not linear. And that courage often looks quiet.
Through their journeys, the documentary shows what happens when people give themselves permission to feel — without rushing the outcome.
Creative Expression as Medicine
Healing does not only happen through talking.
In this documentary, creativity is shown as a language of the soul. Movement. Art. Silence. Breath.
Creative expression allows what the mind cannot organize to move through the body.
This is especially powerful for inner child healing. The child understands images, rhythm, and play — not explanations.
Community: Healing Is Not a Solo Act
One of the strongest messages of Healing in Bali is simple:
We heal faster when we are not alone.
Community is not presented as dependency. But as co-regulation.
Being seen. Being reflected. Being held in presence.
This is the kind of community the film honors one that does not try to fix you, but stays with you.
Forgiveness & Presence
Forgiveness in this documentary is not about bypassing pain.
It is about releasing the burden of carrying the past alone.
Presence becomes the doorway.
When we are present:
The nervous system softens
The inner child relaxes
Clarity emerges naturally
This is the healing the documentary points toward — not dramatic, but sustainable.

Inner Child Healing: Why Feeling Safe Changes Everything
The inner child is not a concept. It is a living part of you.
It exists in your reactions. Your fears. Your creativity. And your capacity to receive love.
When the inner child does not feel safe, life feels heavy — even when everything looks fine on the outside.
What Inner Child Healing Really Means
Inner child healing is not about blaming the past. It is about meeting yourself with presence.
Most of us learned to survive before we learned to feel. We adapted. We stayed strong. We kept going.
But the body remembers what the mind moved past.
Why Safety Is the Foundation
Before growth, before manifestation, before clarity — there must be safety.
Safety in the nervous system. Safety in the body. Safety in expression.
This is why I combine:
Breathwork
Creative expression
Gentle guidance
Healing does not happen through pressure. It happens through permission.
Art as a Language of the Inner Child
The inner child speaks through images, colors, and movement. Not logic.
This is why art is such a powerful healing tool. You don’t need to explain. You only need to express.
When the child feels seen, energy begins to move again. Joy returns. Clarity follows.
Healing Is Coming Back to Wholeness
Inner child healing is not about fixing yourself.
It is about remembering that nothing was ever broken.
With the right container, the body relaxes. The heart opens. And life feels lighter — naturally.
This is the work I do. Not to change you. But to help you feel safe enough to be fully yourself again.
Breathwork in Bali: Why the Island Is a Powerful Place to Heal Through Breath
There is something about Bali that invites you to breathe deeper.
Maybe it’s the air. Maybe it’s the rhythm of the island. Or maybe it’s because Bali gently asks you to slow down long enough to feel.
As a breathwork facilitator in Bali, I see it every week: People arrive carrying years of tension, stories they never had space to process, and bodies that forgot how to rest.
And then — they breathe.
Breathwork Is Not Just a Technique
Breathwork is not about forcing an experience. It is about remembering how to feel safe inside your body again.
Through conscious breathing, we create a bridge between:
The nervous system
Suppressed emotions
The inner child
In Bali, breathwork becomes even more powerful because the environment supports surrender. The body listens faster. The mind resists less.
Why Bali Amplifies the Healing Process
Bali is not an escape. It is a mirror.
The island reflects what is ready to be released.
When combined with breathwork, this creates space for:
Emotional release
Nervous system regulation
Clarity after burnout or heartbreak
Deep reconnection with self
I’ve guided people who came for a holiday and left with a completely new relationship to themselves.
Not because Bali healed them — but because they finally listened.
Breathwork as a Doorway to Inner Child Healing
Many emotions stored in the body belong to younger versions of us.
Through breathwork, we allow the inner child to surface safely. Not through stories. But through sensation.
This is where real healing happens.
Breath by breath, the body learns that it is no longer alone.
Healing Is a Practice, Not a Peak
Breathwork is not about chasing big experiences. It is about creating a consistent relationship with yourself.
In Bali, people remember how to do that. They slow down. They feel. They breathe.
And often, for the first time in years — they come back home to themselves.
When Healing Becomes Service: Building a Home with the Community in Bali
Healing is not something that only happens on a meditation cushion.
Sometimes, healing happens when your hands are covered in dust, your heart is open, and you are standing inside a half-built house with strangers who suddenly feel like family.
This week, I had the honor of collaborating with Rice for Bali, Foodbank Bali, and Sophie So Free , an ecstatic dance DJ and artist based in Bali, on a charity project that reminded me why healing must always come back to service, presence, and community.
A House Built with More Than Bricks
The project was simple, yet profound: build a safe home for a Balinese family in need.
But what was really being built went far beyond walls and a roof.
It was built with:
Presence
Unconditional love
Collective intention
The quiet understanding that every child on this planet deserves a safe home
The community came together, not as healers and clients, but as humans. Some brought time. Some brought energy. Some brought music, food, and laughter.
And together, we created something real.
Art as a Portal of Presence
On one of the walls of the house, I painted the Nothing character.
A simple drawing.
Yet deeply symbolic.
The Nothing represents presence without performance. It carries unconditional love. It reminds us that we don’t need to become someone else to be worthy of safety and care.
For the children who will grow up inside this home, this character is a quiet guardian. A reminder that they are seen. Held. And enough — exactly as they are.
Healing Is Not Serious, It Is Human
Because healing does not always look calm. Sometimes it dances. Sometimes it laughs. Sometimes it moves the body so the heart can breathe again.
This is something I deeply believe in: Healing should not be heavy.
When we heal together, we remember joy. When we give together, we remember humility.
From Inner Healing to Collective Impact
At Heal With Sea, I guide people through breathwork, inner child healing, and creative expression.
But the truth is this: If healing does not make us more compassionate, more present, and more willing to give — then something is missing.
This project was a living reminder that:
Healing is relational
Healing is embodied
Healing is meant to circulate
You heal yourself. You come back home. And then you help someone else feel safe too.
This is the kind of world I want to help build. One breath. One house. One act of love at a time.
Inner Child Healing in Bali, My Story & Method
It all begins with an idea.
Inner Child Healing in Bali, My Story & Method
There is a moment in every healing journey where life asks you to stop running. To pause. To breathe. To look at the parts of yourself you’ve been avoiding for years.
For me, that moment happened in Bali.
I arrived on this island at a time when my life looked “fine” from the outside, but inside, something was breaking. I was creative, expressive, always giving… but I wasn’t connected to myself. There was a young version of me — the child I once was — who was still waiting to be heard.
Bali gave me the space to finally listen.
My Story: The Real Beginning
Growing up in Morocco, I learned very early how to be strong. How to survive. How to hide emotions. Like many of us, I became good at it.
Too good.
It wasn’t until I landed in Ubud, surrounded by rice fields, silence, and color, that I felt something soften inside me. My breath changed. My pace changed. My heart started speaking again.
That’s when my real inner child work began — not from books, but from presence.
My Method: The Moulwanat Approach
My approach is a blend of three elements:
1. Inner Child Dialogue
I guide you to reconnect with your child self, the younger version of you that still carries unmet needs, fears, or emotional imprints.
We explore:
the “doors” of your childhood
your emotional memories
the beliefs that shaped your adult self
what still needs to be expressed or healed
This isn’t about re-living pain, it’s about meeting your truth with compassion.
2. Somatic Breathwork
The body remembers what the mind forgets.
Through breathwork, we release:
stuck emotions
old nervous system patterns
trauma you’ve been holding for years
Most clients feel lighter after just one session, like their body can finally exhale after decades.
3. Creative Healing (Art)
Color is medicine.
Art is a doorway to the inner child.
You draw, paint, express, without needing to be “good.”
This is where your child self speaks the loudest.
Why Bali Makes This Work Deeper
Bali holds you.
The island slows your nervous system.
The energy softens your mind.
It becomes easier to access the inner child because the environment itself is healing.
Who This Work Is For
If you feel disconnected, lost, heartbroken, burnt out, or emotionally overwhelmed, this work is for you.
If you feel something shifting but you don’t know what, this work is for you.
If you’re seeking clarity, this work will find you.
The Truth
Inner child healing is not about fixing yourself.
It is about remembering who you were before pain taught you to shrink.
This is the work I guide.
This is the work that changed my life.
And Bali is where it all began.
Why Bali Is the Capital of Inner Child Healing
It all begins with an idea.
Why Bali Is the Capital of Inner Child Healing
Bali is more than a travel destination. It is a container — a spiritual ecosystem — that invites you to finally meet yourself.
Here’s why people from all over the world come here specifically for inner child healing:
1. Bali Softens Your Nervous System
The inner child cannot speak when you’re in survival mode.
But in Bali, something shifts:
the nature
the colors
the rhythm
the smell of incense
the sound of water and temples
Your body relaxes naturally. Your inner child finally feels safe.
2. The Island Has a Long History of Ritual & Healing
Balinese culture treats emotions, ancestors, and spirituality with respect. Healing is normal here.
People don’t look at you weird when you say you are working on your emotions.
3. You Are Away From Your Triggers
Distance helps.
When you’re far from your routine, your family dynamics, your stress, your environment — you can finally hear yourself.
Bali gives you that emotional distance.
4. The Island Attracts Healers, Teachers & Seekers
Bali is full of:
breathwork guides
bodyworkers
artists
energy healers
spiritual mentors
creative spaces
You feel supported by a whole community of people doing their inner work too.
5. It Is a Safe Place to Break, Release, and Rise
People cry freely here.
They journal in cafés.
They sit in meditation in the middle of Ubud.
Healing is normal, accepted, and encouraged.
The Result
Your inner child feels safe to come out.
Your emotions finally have space.
And your transformation becomes deeper, faster, and more embodied.
This is why Bali is the capital of inner child healing.
How Art & Breathwork Transform Childhood Wounds
It all begins with an idea.
How Art & Breathwork Transform Childhood Wounds
Childhood wounds are stored in two places:
the body
the subconscious
Art and breathwork speak directly to both.
1. Breathwork: Healing Through the Body
When you breathe deeply and intentionally, you:
unlock stuck emotions
release old survival responses
allow your body to express what you suppressed as a child
Clients often cry, shake, laugh, or feel warmth in their chest.
These are signs that the body is releasing.
Breathwork gives the child inside you a voice through sensation — not logic.
2. Art: Healing Through Expression
Your inner child doesn’t communicate through words.
It communicates through:
color
movement
imagination
drawing
symbols
When you draw, you bypass the adult mind.
Your inner child finally expresses:
the emotions it didn’t have space for
the stories it couldn’t tell
the memories it couldn’t understand
3. Why This Combination Works So Powerfully
When breathwork opens the body, art opens the heart.
Together they help you:
release emotionally
understand intuitively
express freely
reconnect deeply with your true self
This is why my method blends both.
A Simple Truth
Childhood wounds don’t disappear by thinking about them.
They heal when you feel, express, and rewrite the story inside you.
Breathwork.
Art.
Presence.
This is the medicine.
